Lorsque Christian Léveillé rencontre Lili pour la première fois, il en tombe follement amoureux. Sans hésiter, il la marie, même s'ils sont tous les deux dans la jeune vingtaine. Malgré l'amour qu'il porte à sa femme, Christian se laisse emporter par son tempérament quelque peu volage et insouciant, jusqu'à mettre son couple en péril. Pour éviter de perdre celle qu'il sait être l'amour de sa vie et las des valeurs bourgeoises, il convainc sa femme de le suivre à la campagne où il déniche une maison aux commodités rudimentaires. Une nuit de pleine lune, Christian Léveillé sent le besoin de sortir et marcher dans la nature.
Sans s'y en attendre, il vit alors une expérience spirituelle intense et transformatrice. Lui qui ne s'était jamais intéressé aux questions spirituelles, il entreprend une quête incessante, préoccupé par l'idée de Dieu, tout en doutant de son existence. Des lectures successives, des promenades dans les bois, des heures en méditation silencieuse mènent graduellement Christian sur le chemin du sens de la vie.
Si Lili est parfois déroutée par l'attitude monastique de son mari, elle lui fait confiance et l'appuie sur ce parcours, sans nécessairement partager ses convictions. Lorsque le couple revient s'installer en ville, après un certain temps, Christian Léveillé n'est plus le même. Et graduellement, tout autour de lui se transforme aussi. Soudainement, il semble se dégager de Christian une énergie particulière, à laquelle certains attribuent même leur guérison, à la stupéfaction de Christian et de sa femme.
Sans le vouloir, Christian Léveillé dérange et suscite la passion, la suspicion et les menaces. Jusqu'où tout cela ira-t-il ? Auteurs : Après avoir obtenu une maîtrise en finances de l'Université de Sherbrooke, Richard Giguère devient un homme d'affaires prospère et fait carrière comme associé dans différents commerces d'automobiles de la ville de Québec. Ayant lui-même vécu une expérience spirituelle marquante, il fonde avec son frère Robert, en 1977, la Fondation Giguère qui se dédie à l'inspiration spirituelle et à la diffusion de valeurs profondes, ainsi qu'au soulagement de la pauvreté.
Aujourd'hui retraité, il vit en banlieue de Québec, en nature, et se consacre à sa fondation qui compte plus de 750 000 abonnés sur Facebook. Après avoir obtenu une maîtrise en littérature française de l'Université Laval, Michel René a évolué dans différentes sphères professionnelles avant de lancer son propre journal, L'Écho de la Rive-Sud, pour lequel il a écrit, durant 17 ans, de nombreux articles et réalisé plusieurs entrevues et reportages.
Il est aujourd'hui propriétaire de la firme Michel René Communication pour laquelle il agit également comme rédacteur et concepteur publicitaire. Il est toujours aussi passionné par l'écriture et la littérature. Il habite à Lévis.
